Goknur is a successful photographer and a painter. Her photographic work includes weddings, portraits, fashion, product and editorial subjects, which have been showcased and commissioned by many publications, as well as personal art projects. She has been awarded as one of the top wedding photographers of Washington Metropolitan area in 2006. Also as an established painter ,who has commissioned her mixed media work frequently in various exhibitions, Goknur has been juried as a Lifetime Resident Artist of Torpedo Factory in 2005. She has great level of expertise with studio lighting equipment which she utilizes extensively for portrait and model sessions.
